Specifically, the research focuses on naturally occurring tocotrienols which have potential to be used in the chemoprevention and treatment of breast cancers.
Predominantly found in palm oil, tocotrienols have been shown to have an anticancer effect without affecting normal cell growth and vitality.
Beta Pharmaceutical Limited is undertaking an initial Public Offering (IPO) of shares in the company with the objective to continue to fund the programme and secure the intellectual property which is being developed from the research.
